With the support of Parmigiani Fleurier

The Prix Elysée is a prize that supports production in the field of photography. It is the result of a partnership between the Musée de l’Elysée and Parmigiani Fleurier, offering financial aid and museum support to eight artists who are passionate about photography and books. They were selected by the museum among over 400 applications received from around the world.

Prix Elysée, the Nominees’ Book
At this stage of the Prix Elysée, a financial contribution has given the nominees the time and the means to come up with new projects, which are presented in a book. Texts by Caroline Stevan, a photography specialist and journalist for the daily newspaper Le Temps, allow us to get better acquainted with the nominees, who were given free rein to present their project as they wished.

Prix Elysée, the Nominees’ Exhibition
These ongoing projects are also being shown in a group exhibition. They reflect the institution’s interest in the subjects and practices of contemporary photography. The exhibition is a chance to share these works with visitors, while offering the nominees an extra step forward in the development of their careers.
