Collodion Workshop

Spend a day with The Wet Collodion Company and learn about the ferrotype process. Olivier Jeannin, a specialist in collodion printing, is offering each participant the chance to make several prints on aluminum plates.  

Tintype, ferrotype or collodion printing is a monochrome photographic process that emerged at the end of the 19th century.  Olivier Jeannin launched this original and fascinating workshop in 2015 with the aim of reviving an ancient technique and craftsmanship.

Workshop Program:

  • Lecture on theory and safety
  • Demonstration
  • Learning how to use cameras
  • Preparing the chemicals
  • Taking photos and developing them
  • From 3pm onwards, get your friends and family to come and have their portraits taken
