The results of the architecture competition, supervised by the state architect, will be exhibited to the public from 6 to 16 October 2015 at the Palais de Beaulieu convention centre in Lausanne.
Bringing together the fine arts, photography and contemporary applied arts and design on the same site is an ambitious project. In March, a jury chose 21 applications submitted by architectural firms from nine different countries. After the finalists were presented with the specifications, the rest of the procedure took place under conditions of anonymity.
In addition to the future buildings devoted to the mudac and the Musée de l’Elysée, the competition also includes a common program for the institutions within the perimeter concerned by the railway station.
