Café Elise

Have a coffee break

In order to share one's impressions, ideas and artistic discoveries both before and after the visit of the exhibition, the Musée de l’Elysée welcomes its visitors at the Café Elise, a bookstore and coffee shop with a friendly atmosphere.

This bright and design space offers tea, coffee, juices and other fresh drinks as well as sweet and salty snacks to enjoy while reading the publications available at the bookstore or while taking pictures in an original photobooth.

The design furniture – vintage chairs and tables by Charles and Ray Eames, lamps from Verner Planton – was provided by Uniquement Vôtre, and the magnificent bookshelf that links the coffee shop, front desk and bookstore was conceived by the architect Jean-Gilles Décosterd. Furthermore, the bar was laid out by Ginox.

All the ingredients are gathered in order to create a meeting space enabling artistic exchange in an agreeable way !
