To take apt leave of the magnificent property of Avenue de l’Elysée 18 that, since 1985, has housed the Musée de l’Elysée as a museum for photography with over 400 exhibitions, a closing event will offer the public a polymorphous show that will last for three days from September 25th to 27th 2020.

Day and night, events will enliven the Jardins de l’Elysée as well as the outside and inside of the building with a wide-ranging programme with something for everyone in this fun, collective and festive farewell. This celebration is a key moment for the institution before it turns a beautiful page in its history and moves to PLATEFORME 10.

On September 27, 2020, almost 34 years after it was created, the Musée de l’Elysée will be temporarily closing its doors so that it can concentrate on its move to PLATEFORME 10. Re-opening at PLATEFORME 10 is planned for late 2021.
